About

Accepting clients for September 2025  - Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, life stressors, relationship issues, trauma, or seeking overall mental well-being, I am here to support you. I believe everyone has the innate capacity to create meaningful change in their lives. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centred therapy. However, the human experience can be complex and unique to each person; therefore, I also use a unique blend of approaches such as somatic interventions, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and meditation, psychodynamics, and a polyvagal-based approach. Tailoring my approach to your needs and individuality allows me to create a compassionate space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings while also helping you connect with your body's wisdom and develop tools to navigate life's challenges more effectively.

I invite you to embark on this therapeutic journey with me. Together, we can explore your experience and work towards your goals.

Position at Lavender Psychotherapy:

My Story

Immigrating to Canada at a young age from the Philippines, I navigated how my early experiences impacted my mental health while being exposed to Canadian culture. I believe that early experiences can strongly influence how we function in our present lives. In my own lived experience, I have struggled with anxiety, relationship issues, and career changes that have made a significant impact in developing my mental wellness.

My journey in becoming a therapist was nonlinear. Previously, working as an early childhood educator and education coach, I was lost and anxious about what I was passionate about. It was not until I participated in my personal therapeutic journey that I truly understood myself. As I continue to embark on this transformative journey, I aim to experience the world mindfully and understand that there will be ups and downs.

I have a deep love for learning, which I believe is crucial in my role as a therapist. When I'm not helping my clients, I am engrossed in books, podcasts, and development training. I am currently undertaking training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and have decided to begin the early process of starting my 200 RYT which I hope to integrate into my practice one day.
